A Dreamy Wedding Among Redwoods

An elegant wedding in the woods among the towering redwood trees is a dreamy and enchanting affair, where nature's grandeur serves as the perfect backdrop for a romantic celebration.

Wedding day for Michael + Kendall

We were honored to be a part of this intimate gathering to celebrate the love of Kendall and Michael. Within a secluded grove deep within a pristine redwood forest, a meandering path, dappled with sunlight filtering through the dense canopy above, led guests to the heart of this enchanted setting. The towering redwoods, some of which were centuries old, created a cathedral-like atmosphere with their majestic presence. Moss-covered rocks and ferns carpeted the forest floor, adding to the natural beauty of the surroundings.

The Ceremony Area: In the midst of this lush woodland, a charming clearing was the chosen ceremony spot. Dark wooden Chiavari chairs, to match the scene, were set in rows by B&B Catering’s staff creating an aisle along the natural forest floor. A rustic wooden platform adorned with blush, pink and peach florals and greenery by Driftwood & Roses Floral Design, stood at the end of the aisle. The wedding ceremony site bathed in warm, soft sunlight that filtered through the towering trees, creating a magical atmosphere.

Décor: The décor designed by Events By Nicki blended seamlessly with the natural beauty of the forest. Tables and chairs made of elegant wood. The soft tones of blush, peach, pink, and gold are beautifully incorporated in the floral arrangements, table settings, and other decorative elements, harmonizing with the surroundings. All rentals were provided by Unica Party Rentals.

The Reception: Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a gourmet dinner by B&B Catering & Events served at round banquet tables, covered in silky white linens. The menu featured a delectable blend of locally-sourced cuisine and included some of the bride and groom’s favorites - Braised Boneless Beef Short Ribs & Miso Glazed Sea Bass.
